Michaela has a passion for teaching and the knowledge to help you find your voice. She’s comfortable teaching all styles of singing, but specializes in musical theatre and classical singing.
She was a graduate-assistant at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she had her own, private studio. Prior to that, she taught at The Jacksonville School of Music, and now, she teaches virtually.
Michaela believes there are merits to singing in every genre and encourages her students to sing things they love as well as things that challenge them.
She’s happy to create lesson plans for any distanced-learning school requirements and loves teaching beginners to read music.
